Privacy Policy

Last updated July 4, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Printventury ("we", "us") collects when you use printventury.com and the Printventury application at app.printventury.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Printventury provides print fleet management: it discovers printers, collects meter readings and supply levels, and produces alerts and reports for the organizations that use it. For the data inside a customer account, the customer is the data controller and Printventury acts as a processor on their behalf.

Data we collect

Account data

  • Name, email address and role of each user, provided by your administrator
  • Organization details: company name, office names and structure

Device telemetry

  • Printer metadata collected by the agent: make, model, serial number, IP address, page counters, supply levels and status codes
  • This telemetry describes machines, not people. We do not collect print job content, document names or the contents of scanned files.

Usage data

  • Sign-in events and application logs (timestamps, IP address, browser type) kept for security and troubleshooting

The marketing site at printventury.com does not use advertising trackers and does not require an account.

How we use data

  • To provide the service: showing your fleet, generating alerts and reports
  • To secure the service: authentication, abuse prevention, audit logs
  • To communicate with you about the service: alert notifications, scheduled reports, important product or security announcements

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run Printventury (hosting, database, email delivery). Each one is listed, with its purpose, on our subprocessors page. We may also disclose data if required by law.

Retention

  • Account and fleet data is kept for as long as your account is active.
  • Meter history is the product — it is retained so year-over-year reporting works, until you delete a device or your account.
  • When an account is closed, its data is deleted from production systems within 30 days and from backups as they expire.
  • Security logs are retained for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because most personal data in Printventury is managed by your organization's administrator, the fastest path is usually through them; you can also contact us directly atprivacy@printventury.com and we will respond within 30 days.

International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data in regions other than your own. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with those providers.

Children

Printventury is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account administrators by email before the changes take effect.
